FIRE ALARM DURING RTV EVENING NEWS (NBC EVENING NEWS)

Would somebody please find the key and turn off the fire alarm. It's driving
NBC's Brian Williams crazy. Fire alarms are good, but a stuck false one is like
eggs on the face of the network. I'm sure this will be corrected and it will
NEVER happen again!

No doubt the late-night funmeisters will deal with this tomorrow night, since they've probably ended taping before 6:30. This could be a recurring skit for SNL as well.

It seems a bit odd they had no decent back up plan. It wasn't that big of a deal anyway, at least from the links posted it didn't seem to be.

Well at least you know tomorrow NBC, CBS and ABC will have a plan to see something like this never happens again

Brian Williams ended up re-taping the parts marred by the fire alarm for the west coast viewers. It was interesting to watch because I am almost never home at 5:30 (here in Texas) to see the network evening news, and the one time in many months I caught the news I see the alarm going off.

Poor West Coast viewers always miss the saucy parts... (See also: "SNL" cursewords.)
