Just as NSP gets to sound the best it has in YEARS, they go ahead and blow it up. More great decision making down on Dauphin St. Why the hell are you going to spend that money on new remote facilities if there's no employees to use them!! Do you really think after "Air Sports One", re-tooling the website and staff, that there would be some wild, outlandish, revenue increase in like 90 days? What's worse, you take out local programming on NSP, but want to add more niche web streams on the Zew website? Seriously? Here's an idea...ditch the webstream idea that honestly maybe 100 people MIGHT listen to, and use that money to keep some talent around. Should have seen something like this coming. The way it seemed the start/end times were always changing in the afternoon.
Might as well just put Mike & Mike on in the morning, and keep Lee in the office for when there's a Jags game. Him, maybe a producer or two. that's all you really need. Might as well take it all the way.
Just the timing of all the decision making over the past few months to the reasoning of this latest screw up makes me wonder... Is it a knee-jerk reaction owner who just realized he had one less hundred in his wallet, or knee-jerk reaction station management, who by reading that article, doesn't know how to look big picture.
How is it just when WNSP gets on the right path, there's ALWAYS a reason to screw it up??
