Wanted to remind anyone who cares at all that NFL fans can get their first glimpse of NBC Sunday Night Football tonight at 7 when the Philidelphia Eagles take on the Oakland Raiders in the annual Hall of Fame preseason game in Canton, Ohio. It is a rematch of Super Bowl XV.
Personally, I'll just tape it for the opening credits and watch the first 30 minutes of it to see how NBC does. Personally, it's not that high on my priority list. I could care less about the Eagles and I Don't like the Raiders. I think the reason for this matchup was John Madden being inducted to the hall of fame because he coached the Raiders.
If I were NBC, I would have chosen Cowboys vs Steelers for the Hall of Fame game since Troy Aikman was also inducted to the hall of fame and he also beat the Steelers in Super Bowl XXX. Besides, Madden had already left the Raiders when they played the Eagles in Super Bowl XV (By the way Oakland won 27-10 and got in as a Wild Card).
