It is unfortunate that you have chosen to make presumptuous accusations. Check with any of the hundreds of members of the Ga Hall and see if it is a scam. If you don't like it, don't join. If you have constructive criticism or can offer improvements, join and help make it better.Radiofornia said:No offense...but this 1995-looking website seems like a scam created to bilk people out of money for memberships. This is nothing more than a P.O. Box in Yulee (near the Georgia border) waiting for checks that will obviously be cashed in St. Marys, Georgia (from where John Long runs the Georgia Radio Hall of Fame website)
Florida has a lot of radio history, both with stations and personalities. I can't believe anybody with radio credibility would refer to this as the Florida Radio Hall of Fame.
When I go to this website, the title bar on Internet Explorer reads "Flordia Radio, St. Marys GA". Mr. Long couldn't even spell "Florida" correctly, and still has the "St. Marys, GA" reference.
Common. Let's put a little bit of pride in what we do. This is why Pandora thinks they can wipe terrestrial radio off the face of the earth.
I'm sorry you're so confused. Please send me email me and I'll explain it to you. [email protected].flwfg said:Well... If you can't even proof read or spell check enough for the word FLORIDA... to be correct, I certainly have my suspicions .. Thanks... but I'll keep my limited finds for what I feel are more legitimate purposes...Isn't this a bit like buying your own bio in "Who's Who" ???
