If it was in mono with the aural fidelity of a Fisher-Price walkie-talkie, I assure you it was "KBRC-FM".
 
Interesting that you would mention Squamish on 98.3 (CBRU). Does this thing actually get out in some areas around the coast? I've yet to log it myself. CKSR in Chilliwack (Star FM) dominates 98.3 in these parts. CBRU is 3,000 watts while CKSR is 5,000 watts.
 
Oh yeah. I forgot about CKSR, but I couldn't pick it up in Coupeville. Too much I-BOC from 98.1 and interference from CIOC to pick up anything on 98.3, but hey, it was only a 15-minute bandscan.
