FM Frequency of the Week - 92.6 MHz (or any other in-between frequency)...

Since we've gone through all of the commercial frequencies in use in North America, I thought we could try this - what do you hear if you tune to 92.6 MHz? Has anyone DXed a station actually broadcasting on 92.6 or any of the other 'even' frequencies?

For me in Vermilion, OH I get the upper sidebands of WVKS (92.5) and lower side bands of CJSP (92.7) mixed together.
 
All I get is the 92.6 sideband of WINC 92.5 Winchester, VA. That station's transmitter is on a mountain 12 miles southeast of Winchester.
 
For me 2.5 mi S of El Cajon, CA, 92.5 depends on the radio I'm using. On my Panasonic RQ-SW20 it's clean, "in-tune" reception of "Magic 92.5" XHRM Tijuana. On some other radios, like my Panasonic RQ-SW44V, it's a weak mix of that and intermods from other locals like 93.3, 97.3, 101.5 and/or 106.5. My Sony SRF-M37W is in one of the previous two categories, I'm not sure which. I don't yet know how to accurately tell where my analog-tuned radios (Ultronics sports radio, Coby CX-70 & CX83, Sony SRF-59, GE SR3, etc) tune so won't comment on those. On my Tecsun PL-380 and PL-606 it's slight residual weak offtuned distorted splatter from XHRM, and on my PL-398mp, due to its broken-off whip antenna, 92.6 is blank.

Speaking of off-frequency reception, I was curious … who here gets regular clean "in-tune" reception of stations at least 0.2 MHz off-frequency, either by being close to the transmitter (like within the 110-140 dBu range), or using a radio with an IF filter wider than a jumbo jet hangar door? ;)
 
In the Americas, Colombia and the Francophone islands in the West Indies use "even decimal" frequencies.

I have only caught one from home---Los 40 Principales, 88.6 in Barranquilla, Colombia. I *might* have caught the former 88.8 in Guatemala City in 1983, before they standardized to odd-decimals.

I also likely heard (per someone in WTFDA) the 95.0 in Martinique on my car radio in Belleview FL.

From the Florida Keys on DXpeditions, I have caught:

88.4 Palomeque Stereo, Colombia
89.0, 95.2, 95.6 (<--I think) in Colombia, all unID here but I could find out.

Colombia has had even decimal FM's for only about 20 years.

In between frequencies help out with knocking IBOC hash out and getting weak E-skip stations. Stations like KZRD 93.9 (on 93.8) from KS and KATC 95.1 (on 95.2) from CO have been caught here in Western WA during E-skip due to in between frequencies and knocking out HD hash.

In Allendale, 92.6 is spillover from WLAW and WYVN.

In Manistee, 92.6 is open. Regarding other in between frequencies, I logged WJNR (which shares its 101.5 frequency with a local) on 101.6 (and 101.7) a few years ago during a very strong tropo opening to the northwest. Now said local (WMTE-FM) is running 250W on an STA, so a good tropo outing would likely wipe out WMTE-FM in parts of Manistee, especially near the beaches, and WJNR would dominate 101.5.

At a place where I used to work, we had an FM station's transmitter tower about 1/4 mile from the shop on 104.9 and the desktop radio we had in the office could get the station (WAKS Kiss 104.9) cleanly on 104.7 or 105.1, no distortion until you went down to 104.6 or 105.2.
 
When it comes to in-between frequencies, on my Tecsun PL-390 today, I heard WZDR (on 99.7) as far away as 99.96 (0.26 MHz away!!) And they're 70 miles from my location and running 46kW/156m. The magic of tropo! On my car radio, WZDR was coming in on 99.9, so I know it wasn't just the Tecsun.
