I doubt it was KUGS. Bellingham wasn't particularly strong. KXXO was much stronger than KISM...I still suspect KAOS. Sounded like jazz, IIRC.

No sign of KJR on 95.7, KING on 98.1, KKWF on 100.7 or KNDD on 107.7? Quite odd, also odd that KISW didn't show up. No sign also of KAFE or KWPZ?

Forgot to put in that KAFE did show up. It was hard to null KXDD, but it showed up at 120 miles. 106.5 had some Christian Contemporary mixing w/ KEGX, so probably KWPZ, but no ID and brief.
KING and KKWF do very bad past Snoqualmie, so not a surprise they didn't show up here. It was interesting hearing the 6300 watt KHSS from 160+ miles compared to KKWF's 68kw at a much less distance. KCMS never showed up either, but KONA was very strong there for 115 miles.

92.1 - K221BI Wenatchee (KZML, 25)/CBU-FM1 Victoria (135...again very strong especially in the higher elevations)

Radio Locator says that K221BI carries KXTG Portland. I'm thinking they're wrong.

92.1 K221BI is leaving Wenatchee and mucking up the dial in Portland now. Alpha Media wants to use 106.3 somewhere in the metro area. I don't know why, as they've already got 102.9 for KXTG!

Yuck! Really? They could have picked something else like 96.7. KCRF isn't audible in Portland, but KLOO is. Another one that could work is 97.5, but that would have problems with the Newburg translator, especially on the west and south sides.

Last time I was in Portland (well, actually Gresham) was 2012. My goodness the translators now. 103.7 is occupied with an HD translator, 102.9 already mentioned, 97.7 is now an Eugene Spanish station. 97.9 is a full power K-LOVE, 96.3 is a full power Urban now. When I visited, 97.7 was KOMO and 102.9 was KYNW. 96.3 was a K-LOVE translator // 88.7. 97.9 used to be KNRQ Eugene especially eastern suburbs. Had several Seattle stations on Tr including KMTT, and even 92.9 KISM. Yeah, 96.7 is blank, and KCRF wasn't even audible in Gresham, although they have a huge range northbound from Lincoln City (can hear them along the whole stretch from Westport WA to Moclips WA...130-160 miles or so)

When I lived there last year I could get 102.9 but not 97.7, then the KXTG translator moved from 102.7 and that was the end of that.

Yeah, you have to be aways out of Portland before hearing any Seattle stations anymore. Too bad, I miss that. The last time I was up in Everett I could receive KINK, but I bet that isn't the case now.

There's a 101.9 LPFM in Mukilteo now running out of a Slavic church. In Seattle, you also deal with KVSH-LP Vashon Island.

Even before those signed on though, I couldn't receive KINK 24/7 in Edmonds, nor could I receive KKWF or KISW at all when I lived in Vancouver. It would be interesting to hear what happens in a major tropo opening today. In some of the smaller ones we've had this summer another station mixes with the LP from Mukilteo, but it's probably Victoria or Vashon, haven't been able to ID it.
