For Those of Us With Mississippi Ties (and there are a bunch of us)...

Scott was really just getting started in the business when I saw him last, but I heard about his successes and exploits. It's always shocking to hear about the death of someone you knew, but especially at such a young age.

Very sad to hear. I didn't know Scott personally, but one of my former co-workers in Jackson was friends with him.

My prayers go out to Scott, his family and friends.

Holy cow. I am shocked. All I can say is life is short, folks. Too short. Sad news.

Competed against Scott in the early 90's in Jackson, as you did D.E. But, glad to call him a friend.

He would check in, every now and again, just to see how things were going in Memphis. We, unfortunately, lost touch in the late '90's. I now regret that very much.

How sad, he was such a nice man and had such great knowledge of radio and music.

I ran into Scott in Tower Records in Nashville back in October and spent 2 hours talking to him.

He was going to take me on a tour of Jackson's recording studios next year.
