Former Dallas Morning News TV critic starts his own website

Ed Bark, the long time TV writer at the Morning News, was one of many to take the buyout offer from the newspaper when they downsized recently. He just started his own website that offers what I think many on this site would find of interest: TV news and analysis. He starts by talking about why he left the DMN. He also has a section critiquing some of the new shows in prime time. Most important, he's going to go back to writing about the goings on in the DFW TV market. Hooray!

The address is unclebarky.com if you're interested.

I read it and it was great! The shackles are off. With Ed having his hands tied at TDMN, Al B. writing for that newspaper in the sky, and absolutely nothing coming from Philpot at the Startlegram, somehow one of the largest media markets in America had no one analyzing the local media. Looks like that's all changed now.

You Go Uncle Barky!

Reads like the Ed Bark I use to read, I will be back often to check in. I hope he enjoys his new adventure.
