It will be interesting how Delta Radio hire would pay off though given the recent scandals David Mueller was in when he was in Denver and how would the GM or PD that hired David Mueller would do in the event he gets into a scandal again.

David Mueller, the former country KYGO-FM Denver (98.5) personality who was found guilty of groping Taylor Swift, is back at the microphone. He has been hired to host mornings at Delta Radio country “Kix 92.7” WMYQ Moorhead, MS.

Mueller will go by the on-air name of Stonewall Jackson as part of the "Jackson & Jonbob" morning show. He has also been named marketing consultant.

“I was roundly criticized in a Facebook group for offering Mueller a job, but regardless of what he may or may not have done, does he really deserve to be banned from radio for life?” Delta Radio president and CEO Larry Fuss said. “He has lots of talent and will sound great on Kix 92.7.”

Mueller famously filed a $3 million lawsuit against Swift, saying her claims that he groped her at a backstage meet-and-greet in 2013 led to him being fired from his job at KYGO. A judge dismissed that case and ruled in favor of Swift’s countersuit, in which she asked for only $1 in damages.

It's the Mississippi Delta. There is literally nothing to do to get in trouble with in the first place.

It's also about 50 years behind the rest of the US, so it's doubtful anyone knows or cares about this DJ and his alleged crime against an over-rated celebrity. Other than the chronic low pay and lack of anything of interest to do within 75 miles, it's probably a great place for a troubled dee-jay to rehab his career.

Dang right when I'm about to say backlash is going to happen and boycott threats are going to happen in scandals like hiring Mueller. I find out there's an interesting reason for the hire.
