Former New York City Anchor Ernie Anastos Join Gray Television

I remember the newscast where he told the weather guy to keep f***ing that chicken and the face on Rosanna Scottos face was priceless.

why bring up the past? Ernie was (and is) very human - he made a mistake - and apologized. Besides, Sue Simmons had an incident on News 4 some years back, and i don't recall the fuss being as much as for when Ernie made his mistake!

As unfair as it may be, one unfortunate remark can be more memorable than a lifetime of accomplishments.

Trying to also get this on other TV station groups where Gray doesn't have a TV station in as well. I didn't know who Ernie was I'm sure if I lived in the New York area would know who Ernie was.

I only know Ernie is because we had the east and west coast channels with prime star and when we transfered to direct tv we had the east and west coast from new york and California.
