former NFL Running Back Mike Thomas who played his pro career for the Washington Redskins & San Diego Chargers during the 1970s and 1980s has passed, according to the Herald Banner out of his hometown of Greenville, Texas. the Greenville, Texas native also was a part of a family of NFL players which includes his brothers Earl (who played for the Chicago Bears, St. Louis Cardinals and Houston Oilers) and Jimmy (who played for the San Francisco 49ers his his entire career, also he passed away in 2017). he played for the University of Oklahoma before he transferred to the University of Nevada-Las Vegas during his college football career. he played his high school years at Greenville High School in his hometown of Greenville.
