Former Rep. David Jolly to Host Daily Radio on Genesis Duo

https://news.****************/cgi-bin/rol.exe/headline_id=n36098

Show Starts October 31st.

Genesis Communications hire former Congressman David Jolly to host a new radio show, "David Jolly: Unbiased and Unplugged," debuting on October 31 from 1-3pm on WWBA (AM 820 News) Tampa Bay and on WIXC (AM 1060 News) Melbourne-Titusville. It'll also be streamed live on newstalkflorida.com. Entitled "David Jolly: Unbiased and Unplugged" will consist of political commentary, discussion with guests and listener calls.

"I'm excited to join the Genesis lineup," said Jolly. "Florida, especially the I-4 corridor, is an increasingly important political landscape, and it'll be great to reach it through the Genesis network." In addition to his radio show, Jolly will post daily 2-minute political commentary videos, available on newstalkflorida.com. "

Jolly represented Florida's 13th District, encompassing most of Pinellas County, from 2014 to 2017 as a Republican. Defeated in his reelection campaign by former governor Charlie Crist, Jolly has since become a political commentator, critic of President Donald Trump and advocate for common-sense bipartisanship. In September, 2018, he left the Republican Party, citing its departure from Conservative principles and loss of moral foundation.

This is an interesting story. Perhaps an audition for something bigger lately. Or perhaps a way to keep his name alive in the district until he runs again.

In any case, we haven't seen many talk shows launched by moderates lately. I've seen him on TV, and he seems well-spoken. Not exactly what's in style right now.

Sounds like a bias to me. Everyone has a bias. Unplugged? I don't know what that means.
