Former WABC, WCBS, WNYW, & WWOR NYC anchor Ernie Anastos, 82

Ernie was a major part of NYC television, up there with Chuck Scarborough and Rolland Smith at competing stations. He will be missed in the television industry. RIP Ernie, and condolences to his family, friends, and his colleagues at WNYW, WCBS and WABC.

I recall when Mr. Anastos was part of the Eyewitness News juggernaut that included Kaity Tong, Warner Wolf, and Storm Field.
