Ernie Anastos spent 11 years as an anchor at Eyewitness News beginning in the late '70s before he left in 1989.
They were packaged and syndicated nationally as "Positively America with Ernie Anastos."Mr. Anastos recently hosted a series of short features on WABC called "Positively Ernie."
To say nothing of Jim Jensen.Ernie was a major part of NYC television, up there with Chuck Scarborough and Rolland Smith at competing stations.
