Former WHAM Radio Personality Beth Adams To Host Morning Edition on WXXI

Congratulations to Beth. I know she will do a professional job.

But now I have a question. What happened to the guy who hosted Morning Edition for the past several years? Did Alex Chricton leave the station on his own or was he "asked" to take an early retirement?

Another interesting observation. Now there is a female host for Morning Edition; a female host for All Things Considered and both the news director and Vice President of Radio are women.

Am I the only one who sees a trend here? ???

If I was Dr. Bob I would be worried.

Congratulations Beth!
Having worked the early morning shift at WHAM for so many years getting up before the birds is second nature to you.
It will be great to hear your voice back on the Rochester radio. And may I say, from personal experience, that you will be working alongside of some wonderful and truly dedicated people at WXXI.

According to a press release from WXXI Alex will be hosting All Things Considered.

Before launching into your diatribe you might have wanted to go to the WXXI web site first. So tell me how does one’s foot in their mouth taste?

It's not only good news for Beth but for everyone who really care about the radio business. A true professional is back in the biz.
