Former WKYC meteorologist Hollie Strano now forecasting on radio in southern states
Nearly a year after being fired from Cleveland's NBC affiliate, Strano announced her new weather reporting role while maintaining her local podcast.
According to this article Hollie Strano will do weather reports covering Georgia and Alabama. It does not say which affiliates like Iheart, Audacity, Cumulus or other in Georgia and Alabama will get those weather segments from Hollie Strano.
The former WKYC Channel 3 meteorologist is now voicing daily weather reports for radio stations in Alabama and Georgia, she announced on her Facebook page on Sunday.
“Grateful for the opportunity, and excited for what’s ahead,” she wrote. “Let’s do this.”
Strano will still be based in Northeast Ohio, where she records her “Abruptly Authentic with Hollie Strano” podcast.
