FOX 29 moves its noon newscast back to 11 AM as of today

Fox Philadelphia needs to turn in its broadcast license to the FCC pronto. The FCC then needs to take the spectrum and use it for bandwidth for new media purposes. The station is an absolute abomination. Good luck to the new VP of sales attempting to sell that horrible local product in the marketplace.

Good to see the irrational sector represented. ::) We get it, you dislike their news. Guess what, there are many who don't dislike it.

If you don't like their local news, Fox 29 still broadcasts the Fox network programming. Without Fox, no Iggles on Sunday.

I didn't state my opinion so you could "get it." and roll eyes. Why do you insult other folks on the board who want to state an opinion? Who made you king of the discussion boards? Jeez, relax a little bit. "Irrational?" Give me a break, simply laying out the obvious to anyone that lives in this market with even a teeny weeny bit of smarts. The FOX 29 product is an absolute insult to anyone with intelligence, the continuation of the "dumbing down of America presented by FOX 29." But maybe YOU can't understand that and are being irrational. I don't know ANYONE in my circle of Philadelphia area residents, both in the media and not, that are not insulted by their news product. Sure, that's a small sampling, but go ahead, prove that "there are many who don't dislike it." And, don't go pointing out ratings, that currency's time has come and gone in the digital age.
 
Where oh where to have fun with that? Let's see...measurable numbers of people making the choice to watch is a currency whose time has passed, but your circle of friends and family is somehow a currency that was ever real in the first place? Me thinks you need a bit of a reality check about juxst what "currency" actually is. Not that it would matter to someone who thinks denying simple facts makes them not exist.

It's funny, actually, to realize just how much the original statement may have understated things.
