Fox News Radio's ''The Brian Kilmeade Show'' to Air Live on WABC/NY

Another one coming to WABC along with Shapiro in 2019 is the Brian Kilmeade show

Cumulus Media and FOX News Radio have announced that the syndicated talk radio program "The Brian Kilmeade Show" will join the weekday programming lineup on WABC/New York, beginning Wednesday, January 2, airing live weekdays from 10am-12pm ET. Hosted by Brian Kilmeade, co-host of FOX News Channel's "FOX & Friends," the show tackles the top stories and news of the day, spanning politics, finance, sports and entertainment.

Kilmeade said, "As a Long Island native, I grew up listening to WABC and having been doing so my whole life. Being a guest on the station has always been an honor, but to now have my nationally syndicated radio show carried by WABC, is a career goal that I am humbled to achieve. This is a real reflection of not only just me, but of my incredible team, including Alyson Mansfield, Eric Albeen, and Pete Caterina."

This show replaces Chris Plante, a home-grown Cumulus show that emanated from WMAL in DC. A few weeks ago Cumulus announced that it was now distributing long form talk shows from the Fox News Radio network, and this is the first big clear for that deal.

If by "humbled" you mean shit house, then I agree! What a travesty for a once great station. It had an incredible Music and Talk heritage but that is gone now. Obviously they've let the Interns run the place, and Lord knows the quality of Interns has dropped in the last 20 years!

WABC’s greatness was as a Top 40 station. I don’t think its talk show hosts match the legendary stature of Dan Ingram and his colleagues, but, I was never a big Conservative talk radio fan.
