FOX SENDS "I HATE MY TEENAGE DAUGHTER" TO THE DUMP

You just can't make gold out of crap!

This show has underperformed from the start. FOX gave it a new time slot and even that couldn't
give this show any life. Now it is off the network (6 unaired shows may be shown this summer).

Bye bye now.

Oh please the whole TV industry is based on that concept :)

Wasn't it also a hit record for John Stewart? ???

Just as I predicted, the method of "let's try and build some kind of show
around Jamie Pressly's sterotype" did not work.

Does Fox use ION's programming people or is that just my impression?

Even indie stations do better than Fox.

For most people I know, tv is as relevant a part of their lives as radio is.
They watch it when they are around it, and something is on, but they aren't going to much trouble to see formulaic/repetitive/stereotyped/caricature shows like this these days.

The new Mindy Kaling pilot that has been ordered for Fox is being pitched as a suitable counterpart for "New Girl", so execs probably thought there was no pointing in continuing to beat this dead horse. I tried one episode and it was downright painful.

I'm glad they're showing patience with "Raising Hope", though, because I think its underappreciated. Its not as strong as some other comedies on TV- the aforementioned "New Girl" and "Parks and Recreation" come to mind- but its still a solid comedy.

Mildred? Didn't we have a "...Teenage Daughter" show once before? I think the cute blond from that is on the "Big Bang" show now? ;)

Jaime Pressly wasn't a stereotype. Although she did win an Emmy for playing one.

I did like her here. She had a nice personality (in contrast to her nasty trailer trash) and a nice smile.

There were occasional good moments with the kids, though maybe the lines would have worked better on "Suburgatory", a better show but not one I have particularly enjoyed.
