FOX SPORTS SCREWS UP WORLD SERIES OPENING CEREMONY

Agreed, Keith is a genius nearly on a par for humor as the late great Steve Allen. They even look a bit a like.
"Fox Noise" really describes Rupert's version of Pravda.

HEELLOOO!!!!

The great KO uses that one as well. Watch Countdown and you will hear it almost daily.
It seemed more appropriate right now than 'From way downtown.. BANG"

How long have you been employed by Fox?

I'm insulted by that accusation.

Well your constant defence of the baboon makes you either the monkey himself (not likely, since you actually sound like a somewhat sensible person unlike McCarver) or someone who is a paid flack who has to defend him.

McCarver was not even a mediocre player (the best description of his playing career that I have heard was "Steve Carlton's jock strap holder") and as for his inane ramblings, they are insipid, random, and often seem the ramblings of a deranged individual making sense to only one person.

If you truly believe that, then you either don't understand a thing about baseball...or you're not a real baseball fan.

I understand about baseball and could probably commentate better than the moronic baboon. Then again, an actual baboon could probably commentate better than McCarver. You are really starting to sound like a paid flack for McCarver with what you are saying.

McCarver was a decent, but not great, catcher in his day. Nobody confused him with Johnny Bench or Carlton Fisk, but he was no Bob Uecker either. He was good enough to have been selected to the NL All-Star team twice (1966 & '67, probably his best seasons).

He was a much better player than he is an announcer - the exact opposite of Uecker.

Hi everyone:

We can't forget that the fact that Rupert Murdoch owns Fox/News Corporation sends liberals into
a frenzy. Even though at least some of their shows (Simpsons and Family Guy come to mind)
make many jokes at the expense of conservatives, etc. * and they employ
some people like Geraldo, etc. (Remember his on-air fight with BOR over immigration?) No,
no matter how many great entertainment and news shows have run on Fox over the years,
they're owned by Rupert so they must be eeeeeeevil. :)
And to think, there's supposed to be "Liberal" bias in the media. Uhh....Huh. And who do you think has been force-feeding this crap onto the American people the last eight years??

Rupert Murdoch & the Republican Party.

Sorry. Couldn't resist. ;) *Heheheh!*

Cheers :D
