Frank Ocean's Novacane on Power 106 Los Angeles

Wow, I'm shocked that a station like Power 106 is focusing on this joint. That's some real R&B with no autotune vocals at all. Anyway I like it and you'll like it too. It has a D'Angelo, Musiq Soulchild and Eric Benét feel which is why I'm shocked that KPWR is playing it. What are your thoughts? I'm shocked that Power 106 playing some R&B in general. They still play R&B but it's dance influenced R&B. BTW sorry to get off topic what R&B tracks did Power 106 when they were going against "The Beat". ??? I remember them playing Brandy's The Boy is Mine, TQ's Westside and Keith Sweat's Nobody & Twisted but I need to know.

Everyone's All Novacaned Out!

All those R&B songs that Power 106 played in the late 90's, early 00's were rhythmic hits as well. I heard all of those on Power 92 KKFR in Phoenix when they were leaning heavily on hip hop (but were still rhythmic).

@ KDM 7000 Beside Keith Sweat's Nobody & Twisted, Brandy's The Boy is Mine and TQ's Westside, what other R&B songs did they play in the 90's & early 2000's? ???
