I did not see this published in any of the trades and only just learned that Fred Sorrell passed away on April 5, 2022.

Fred was President and GM of CKLW Radio, “The Big 8”, from 1969 – 1973 during its ratings heyday. During his tenure, the station generated the highest revenue in its forty-year history.
