FSN'S College Football Saturday 9/24 Games Cancelled

The Master Control center for all the FSN channels in Houston remains evacuated. I imagine some games will still be able to be patched back to the home markets, but the national coverage is wiped out this week. All the channels are running the same schedule of highlight shows, and pre-taped college sports. I don't believe this affects any of the ESPN Game Plan PPV games, does it?

Only to the extent FSN controls anything ESPN does, which is not at all. Besides, ESPN's hub is in Bristol, CT.

But even so, do they pick up any regional FSN college games for the PPV package? Yes, ESPN is in CT and FSN is in Houston, but still, if ESPN doesn't get the material, there's no show.

I don't believe so because they are features of the FOX College Sports networks. I believe the PPV packages feature games from ESPN Regional, local cable networks, ABC regional and Jefferson Pilot.

To go away from topic just a bit, while I think there's no problem of hubbing the Fox-owned RSNs out of Houston, if Fox was a little smarter, they should have each of their RSNs hubbed out of the local Fox O&O station serving their respective areas (if there's no near-by Fox O&O, they could either use the affiliate in their area or just use the closest Fox-owned TV station), while they should maintain the national feed out of Los Angeles, while they could keep Houston as a backup master control. If you have the local RSN hubbed out of the local Fox station, at least you can maintain your localized programming without too much trouble.
