fthe main home page of RadioDisccussions looks off in default style theme mode, but looks fine in dark theme mode

i noticed something wrong with the default style theme and the main home page and that the layoff looks wrong and wonky and not normal, so today, i decided to see if the dark theme has the same issue with the home page of this forum site, and sure enough, it looks normal.

i decided to take screenshots of the front page with and without ad blockers on and at zoomed out at 80% to capture what it looks like (the final screenshot of the 6 example screenshots to show the issue will be posted in the next post)

what is causing this and will it it be fixed, i can confirm this is affecting all computers that access it using chrome on Windows 11, i checked chrome on my android phone and the site's looking normal on desktop mode, so this might be a chrome on computers issue.

the final screenshot is in this post.

i'll check Firefox, Edge, Opera and Brave to see if it's impacting them too.

ok, just checked the other browsers on my computer and phones (my current smart phone & 1 slightly older smart phone that isn't connected to a cell phone network that i use as another internet device), and i can confirmed, on the browsers on my phones in desktop mode, it looks right, on my computer all browsers except Firefox, the front page is not looking right on the default theme. so therefore this seems to be a problem on chromium based browsers (every browser except Frefox as these are all browsers based on the chromium browser, which is the browser that Chrome is based on).

Just checked, and everything looks normal.

I'm using the latest ESR version of Firefox (128.12.0), if that matters. Could be that the forum software was recently updated, and older versions are experiencing an issue with some element of the updated theme that they aren't able to render correctly.

As I cannot replicate this on any device or browser, I cannot troubleshoot. I would suggest resetting your browser cache for the site and see if that repairs the issue. Hold the CTRL key and click the reload icon on the browser when on the page to do so.

Nothing has changed... No updates, nothing. To be honest I'm not investing any more time into learning anything about how to make XenForo work properly and instead investigating other platforms.

Was cattywampus on my notebook on Firefox, but a refresh make it look normal. And no issues on this desktop.

Another thing that net congestion can cause mboards to look cattywampus due to some data making it through and a refresh usually fixes that.

If you hadn't visit it yet, the The Admin Zone forum deals with the different platform packages out there.

Worked fine today for some reason :)
If you are using Firefox, which several have mentioned, keep in mind that they tend to push very frequent upgrades or updates. Could be that one of them fixed a browser issue.
