Fybush: Bob Lobel daily show in Concord NH area

Today (Monday, 11/22) he was on Emily Rooney's noontime show on WGBH-FM. Apparently there was a football game over the weekend involving players who actually aren't from here, but wear uniforms with the names of cities on them, or in the case of the "Patriots", a region of the country.

Yes caught the very end of it. They did mention the WEEI/WBZ-FM ratings war and I think Lobel
said he couldn't see one all-sports station in town succeeding let alone two

yes but didnt weei do well before the sports hub came along>??? maybe hes mad they didnt want to hire him there!!!

all-sports station in town succeeding
Didn't hear it but Lobel must have meant years ago, he didn't see it working. Obviously it works in the 21st Century though you have to have morning drive doing something else too.
In FAN's case Imus did practically no sports (and sold out four hours with no ratings).

True. Also btw let's not forget that Lobel IS on Boston radio, as Fybush said:
>>Bob Lobel is already back on the radio on the weekends in Boston via WXKS (1200 Newton)

and he is: Sun 9-11 am with Upton Bell, so that's a little closer to us.
