Ga Radio Hall of Fame Announcement

The Georgia Radio Hall of Fame will honor 8 radio professionals as Legacy Inductees at their 5th Anniversary Induction Ceremony on October 15, 2011. They are : James Brown, Ernie Harwell, Jack Hurst, Pepper Martin, Bill McCain, Dick Meeder, Ed Mullinax, and Ben Porter. The 2011 Founders and Directors Award recipient is Jim Wesley. Also announced were the candidates for Career Achievement Induction during the same program. See them here www.grhof.com. Voting to select eight of the candidates by the members of the Georgia Radio Hall of Fame begins June 1, 2011. The names will be announced the evening of the ceremony. The event will take place at the Hilton Atlanta/Marietta Hotel & Conference Center. The master of ceremonies will be Emmy awards winning actor and Sirius radio personality, Jay Thomas.
