Gail Huff's Ch 5 news is on 1510--it's a conspiracy!

Shh...I don't want this to get around but it looks like WWZN 1510 may be a Republican operation in disguise.
After all, they simulcast the Ch 5 5 pm news, and one of their reporters, Gail Huff is...shudder...married to Sen. Brown.

Oh no! The fun is at the Boston Prog Talk yahoo group where there is concern about all this. Horrors, the station that has Stephanie Miller, Ed Schultz, and Thom Hartmann also runs the audio of the newscast that employs Sen Brown'sI wife! Horrors, she's married to a Republican...no doubt she brainwashed Ch 5 workers to vote for him! Aaaaaghhh!

(For the record, Ms. Huff did not report on the campaign and did not join her husband on the campaign trail, to avoid charges of conflict of interest. She only appeared with him during his election night party but otherwise kept a low profile.)

But hey, I think there could be something there. Why would we want to listen to the Ch 5 news (audio) when they
employ someone like Senator Brown's wife? ;D (Joking! March Fool!)

>>> Gail Huff is on 1510 at 5 PM in the news broadcast! They are infiltrating! How many think Gail Huff possibly used the resources of WCVB to help her husband win an election...talk about a conflict of interest! if she did...I'm not saying that she did...but what a powerful tool. And now WCVB has a Senator's Wife as a reporter on the Progressive Talk station 1510 AM, of all places...double jeopardy! HA.

(Hopefully the "HA" at the end means he's joking! :) )

I know this is a radio web-site, but if given the choice, I'd much rather watch Gail Huff, than just listen.

Oh please. In the absence of any evidence whatsoever that Gail Huff was using her position to help her husband, why is this even an issue?

Did anyone question Andrea Mitchell's judgment as a reporter while her husband, Alan Greenspan, was chairman of the Federal Reserve?

It's not a conspiracy. It's a non-story. Nothing to see here. Move on.

In the absence of any evidence whatsoever

Obviously, you don't understand the finer points of conspiracy theory. The complete lack of evidence IS PROOF of a coverup and thus, a conspiracy.

Glad to be of assistance.

TSB

Thought the post on that yahoo group was funny and rolled at it with some sarcasm. Again the "ha" at the end was hopefully a sign that it was tongue in cheek on his part...how dare our liberal talk station simulcast a TV newscast with a reporter married to a Republican senator! After all it must be written in our state constitution that all officeholders must be Democrats, right? And who needs evidence. Another post may have suggested sending a letter to Ch 5 for its public file...?

TV newscast on radio: "so if you're seeing this green section, that's rain, dark green is heavy rain, while the
pink section is getting a mix and the red is snow..." :)
Yes it does give the TV station a commercial and they figure it could win them viewers. Some Boston station could simulcast fox 25 morning news, perhaps...and it may put WWZN on the map as people stumble across the newscast and hear promos for libtalk shows. Who knows, CH 5 5 pm news might have their highest listenership?

Of course there's no issue. The Scott Brown haters are trying to create one. When the house voted for Obamacare, after all the sleazy deals were made, they tried to blame him, a senator, for the house vote.
