Gary and I left Orban on the same day a few months ago. A truley great human being and a pleasure to work for and with over the +20 plus years I knew him. I know he had a lot of friends out there. I'll be happy to pass on more info when available......

CRL made some of the most musical sounding processors... especially the SEP/SEC 400. Their AGC's were so much better than Compellors. I've never heard the CRL Millenium digital box and have always wanted to.

There was great talent at CRL.....

Agreed, the S series AM stuff was great. I too always wanted to hear the Millennium but never had the chance. When I was beta testing for Jim Somich on his last project I remember that he did get to test drive the Millennium. IIRC, Jim thought it was a decent box. You never see any for sale, so maybe they were great.

The SEP 400s and SPP 800s are by far two of the best sounding ACGs out there-ESPECIALLY if you rechip and recap them.

Put an SPP 800 as the only processing on a web stream-you'll be AMAZED at how nice it sounds-and also how 'even' it is. Or stick one in front of an 8100.
