Lorianne Crook and Charlie Chase have partnered since 1983, hosting both TV and radio programs including the long-running, nationally syndicated Crook & Chase Countdown heard on more than 200 Country stations each week. Dr. Don Carpenter has been a fixture on WYCD/Detroit for 20 years. Among other stops in a career that began in 1954, Gaylon Christie owned, operated and handled mornings at KOOV/Copperas Cove, TX from 1977-2000. Christie was the CRS President's Award recipient in 2000. Eddie Edwards has been with WNOE/New Orleans for two decades, with previous stints that include WSIX/Nashville and KLAC/Los Angeles. WUSY/Chattanooga's Bill "Dex" Poindexter has been with the station since 1993 and currently co-hosts the afternoon Dex & Mo Show.

Congratulate the inductees by clicking on their names. The Country Radio Hall of Fame Dinner will take place Tuesday Feb. 26 at the Nashville Convention Center, on the eve of CRS 2013.

Gaylon was also a popular DJ (later GM) of KTON in Belton/Temple/Killeen in the 60s and 70s. He was also my first boss and a great friend. Congrats Big Daddy!
