George McFly Taking Heat In Colorado Springs Over Indian Remarks

You may recall George McFly, who used to handle nights on KYGO, left exactly one year ago to accept the morning position at KKMG/"Magic 98.9" in Colorado Springs.

This is not the anniversary commemoration he expected: A Native American listener has taken offense to a segment on McFly's show earlier this week in which he read a list of Native American names and laughed about them. The listener, Skuya Fasthorse, says she feld "mad" and "hurt" that such "sacred" names appeared to have been mocked by McFly. Of course, Magic's OM is defending the radio veteran with a different side of the story: "I've had the chance to review all of the recent interaction on the show. And I can tell you that there was no intent to disrespect Native Americans or their culture. I believe someone heard a small piece of an interaction on the show and simply made an assumption."

So who's right here? You be the judge...
