George Noory Extends Deal With Premiere Networks To Remain Host Of Coast To Coast AM

Premiere Networks has announced they have signed a multi-year agreement with George Noory to continue hosting “Coast to Coast AM“.

Noory joined the show in 2001 as a guest host and soon took over the Sunday night edition. He has hosted the Monday through Friday overnight show since the departure of original host Art Bell in January 2003. Prior to working on the show, Noory worked in TV news in Detroit and St. Louis and hosted an overnight show at 550 KTRS St. Louis.

I recall Noory saying when he took over for Bell that he would do it, "for a few years."

I also recall Howard Stern on WNBC making fun of all the old farts on the radio. He said, "Robin, we'll do this for 5 years and then retire!" I distinctly remember the 5-year reference.

Noory does a good job on that show, and his backup hosts are mostly pretty good, also. I remember he once said he was going to quit in 2012, and then changed his mind about that.
