Awww, Give the guy a chance to get on the air here at least before we start to tear him apart. Who knows? He might actually do well.

Even though I think Cousin Ed from Philly would have been a better choice. ;) ;) ;)

How can any of you say this is a bad hire when you havent heard the guy yet? I tried to but there wasnt any available audio on his site.
With that said: Yeah, it's an interesting pick with him never hosting his own morning show.

Uh...because that's the only thing this type of forum is good for. Bashing every decision that anyone makes in an effort to make themselves feel better.

NO! We bash because this is market 10 and expect better than a guy that's never proven himself. He WAS a producer/sidekick in a good market... I think we deserve someone that's done more than just pump out podcasts from a production room!
 
I use to live in Philly..Giant Brian is talented (more talented than John The Zoo Kepper..I suggest you give the show a listen for a week and see what he does with it. Otherwise, you could have what the majority of Philly stations do...Hire has beens that haven't been relevent in 20 years yet have a name and resume. A long radio history usually means nothing creative is left in the ticker and instead of trying to create compelling radio, they play it safe with rehashed Sh*t. ;D

Wasn't Bert Weiss Kidd Kraddicks right hand guy before Atlanta. I thought this was his first major market hosting gig? Am I way off?

He had his own morning show in D.C. before landing in Atlanta. He may have been with KK before that.

You're a little late... Slider beat you to the Market 9 post. My bad. Seems Brian has taken down all his audio on his page. Why is that? Wouldn't you want to post your best bits to get people jacked to listen to your show?
