Glenn Beck's last gasp on Headline News may be coming soon

It looks like Glenn Beck may be recieving a pink slip from CNN sometime in the next couple of weeks.I have heard that during the past two weeks, they were showing nothing but repeats of past segements for the entire show, every single day.I was hoping for this, and I hope it gets canned real soon. ;D
 
Hmmm...does this mean "Showbiz Tonight" will be back live at 7:00pm, or will they stick with 11:00? (They're expanding the show to seven nights a week now)Jonathan Allen
 
That was fast! Not even the usual 13 weeks.Maybe those Time-Warner Turner idiots should try something new - like all news, all the time. What a radical idea. It wasn't broke. Put it back the way it was. I realize every time new suits come in they have to make changes to justify their existance and high salary. Likewise, consultants have to recommend changes. Now maybe somebody will come to his senses and get back to basics.Stop dumbing down headline news.Get rid of the flashy sets.Get rid of the Ken and Barbie airhead newsreaders.Just do straight news, especially now that CNN is all talk.
 
Actually it was broke. Ratings were way down. I'm no Glen Beck fan, but I have to say he really wasn't given a chance. Some people (mainly those of you on this board) refuse to accept change.
 
Can you confirm this? Nothing about Beck leaving Headline News has shown up anywhere else. What do you have other than some re-runs? It's also too soon for Beck to be on vacation.

This was just speculation. Nothing has been said yet.

BTW, the reason he was on vacation was because he was on his "Midlife Crisis" tour. They videotaped events surrounding it, and it will be shown on...you guessed it...all next week.

In all reality, it is pretty much over.
