Here's a short compilation of what I was able to confirm this morning, in Columbus GA. Reception was very favorable from the South, West, North, and all points between. Nothing special from the East.
107.9 WFCA "Music with a Message" Ackerman, MS 100kW @ 264 miles (noisy)
107.9 WPFM "107.9 PFM" Panama City, FL 100kW @ 146 miles (good)
107.9 WJAM Orrville/Selma, AL 3.7kW @ 128 miles (noisy)
107.7 WFXX "Fox 107" Georgiana, AL 42kW @ 121 miles (very good)
106.7 WKMX "KMX" Enterprise/Dothan, AL 100kW @ 95 miles (PERFECT, nearly maxed my signal meter at 66dBu)
106.5 WSKZ "KZ106.5" Chattanooga, TN 100kW @ 184 miles (very good)
103.7 WQEN "103.7 The Q" Birmingham, AL 100kW @ 127 miles (very good)
103.7 WRUF "Rock 104" Gainesville, FL 100kW @ 247 miles (noisy)
103.5 WAKT "Kat Country 103.5" Panama City, FL (fair, fighting with WJAD 12.5kW Albany GA)
102.5 WEBL "WEBL" Warner Robbins, GA 4kW @ 76 miles (noisy)
102.5 WESP Dothan, AL 16.5kW @ 89 miles (very good)
102.1 WWAV "Wave 102" Santa Rosa Beach, FL 50kW @ 166 miles (good)
102.1 WWWD "W...W...W...D" Bolingbroke, GA 4.5kW @ 75 miles (noisy)
101.7 WRBV "B101.7" Warner Robbins, GA 4.9kW @ 79 miles (noisy)
101.7 WNUQ "Q102" Albany, GA 3kW @ 79 miles (good)
100.5 WRAX "The X" Helena, AL 11.5kW @ 138 miles (very good)
100.5 WLDA "Wild 100" Fort Rucker/Dothan, AL 2.8kW @ 90 miles (fair)
All of the Atlanta area stations were coming in as usual, with a stronger signal of course.
These were caught with an APS-13 mounted at 25 feet. I got tired of running out and twisting the mast every couple of minutes, so that's why the list isn't that long. Soon I'll move it up to a 60 foot tower (with a rotor!) I'm buying from a co-worker.
