Grammys 2024: Phoebe Bridgers and boygenius win big while SZA and 'Barbie' also earn early trophies

I tuned away to Reacher season 2 after the Tracy Chapman/Country Guy duet. That was well done.
Heard on the news this morning that apparently JZ was whining that Beyonce didn't win album of the year. Poor rich couple...boo hoo.

He basically took an unnamed shot at Taylor.

I thought it was one of the better Grammys in years.
 
Voting will begin soon for the 2025 Grammy awards. As that begins, here's a report that the voting membership has changed in the last five years. The CEO of the Academy says Grammys should be decided by "relevant music people."


 
I know this would never happen but stop making the Grammy a popularity contest and award actual talent.
 
People have many reasons why they don't like the Grammy awards. They dispute the winners because their favorites don't win. But what happens when the artists themselves stop entering? They can do that. If an artist or label doesn't submit their music, it isn't even available for the voters. So apparently outlaw country star Zach Bryan has not submitted his music for Grammy consideration:
