Gray Television’s Tupelo Honey Invests In Swirl Films

Swirl Films, an independent film and television production company with a core focus in diversity inclusion, announced today that video production company Tupelo Honey has made a strategic investment in Swirl Films’ ATL Film Studios. The investment expands the multifaceted partnership between Swirl Films and Tupelo Honey, which is owned by Gray Television. Swirl says the investment will create new opportunities to host productions from Tupelo Honey, while also further supporting Swirl Films’ current and future client base.

ATL Film Studios is a fully functional production studio on an 11-acre secure site comprising two 20,000-square foot sound stages, a 30,000-square foot mill space and a complement of production services. The state-of-the-art facility also offers LED walls, blue screen, ample office space and standing sets that lend themselves to hospital, school, home/apartment and salon settings. Most recently, ATL Film Studios has been home to multiple projects produced for BET Network, Lifetime, TV One, Bounce TV and others.
