Great songs that were Top 40 hits that you never hear on the radio

have I seen The Final Countdown: Europe yet?
well if I have before, now it's twicet! ;)

I don't think so.

Or Carrie or Rock The Night also by Europe.

I just got to insert here that I've been thinking more of the 70s and 80s era Top 40 songs when I think of them, because back then, the Top 40 had more varieties of music. I miss hearing 38 Special followed by Don Johnson followed by Pebbles.

Anything into the 90s and these days, well if it's Top 40, I can't tell one song from the next because they all sound the same, so I haven't thought of many of them, in my head OR out loud. :D

I agree with you there. That was what made radio exciting in the 70s and 80s. You didn't know what was going to come on next. I believe that that type of radio can be done again and you have 20 years worth of "playlists" to go by. Just pick up The Billboard Book of Top 40 Hits and the AC version of the book and there's all the research and playlists you need.

Depends on what you mean by LOOK in that statement. In many ways she WAS sexy looking at least to me. So was Linda Ronstadt back then. I didn't know about the anerexia Karen had then as probably most Americans didn't. A real loss of a great voice.
