GREAT to hear J&K back on the air! (Whitney who!!?)

Props to them for interviewing a black woman music & political columnist, Jasmyne Cannick, in studio in the 5p hour, how it effected her what they said about Whitney.

And the BEST thing about it!?? No Kennedy!!!

Based on what you are saying, this sounds like some sort of forced mea culpa/sensitivity training interview so she can let them know just how "hurtful" their words were. Please tell me that is not the case.

Noticed they did not do the KTLA Driving it home segment. I wonder if that was canned in light of the controversy. Stations I have to say are such chickens these days.

Of course it is.

It's very similar to when the Adam Carolla Show ran it's Asian Awards spoof. Adam had to have Guy Aoki, head of the Media Action Network for Asian Americans on his show, AND, the WHOLE CBS CLUSTER had to sit through a couple of hours sensitivity training! I wonder if the folks on Olive will have to endure a similar fate?

I also noticed Shannon Ferrin sounded distant from J&K.
Shannon is still figuring out her voice with J&K. She tends to stay out of it when they are on their government bozos rants and tends to come alive later in the day when the topic du-jour isn't leaning political. I think she's doing fine. T-Rae had 15++ years to find her place among the boys and Shannon will find hers too.

You got that right...in so many ways beyond this event...including music selection(whatever the format) and topic selection re talk shows.
