Greg Lake, 69, bassist/vocalist for Emerson, Lake, and Palmer

It depends. Last time I looked, Fats Domino and Little Richard were both alive. They're both in their mid-80s. Chuck Berry just turned 90 a few weeks ago.

You are correct but I was thinking of more modern rockers. The last time those guys had a hit I couldn't order a legal drink. :) There must be something about early RnR that provides longevity. Maybe the 60's and 70's guys did too many drugs.

Fats lives in the Lower 9th Ward in New Orleans and nearly drowned in one of the hurricanes several years ago.

You may be right, but Lake died of cancer. I know a lot of people who never did drugs who have died from cancer. Frank Zappa was anti-drug, but died of cancer.

Elvis died from an overdose. So did Michael Jackson and Prince. In those cases, their lifestyle caused their demise. Not so with Greg Lake.
