Gus Johnson out at CBS Sports, in talks with Fox Sports

Won't that be one less announcer come March Madness for CBS Sports?

I also bring this up, wasn't CBS Sports surpose to use James Brown for college basketball too? Not just the NFL Today and NFL score updates during halftime.

He should replace Joe Buck as the head sports announcer, do MLB along with NFL :D

Can you imagine Gus Johnson calling NASCAR races with DW? "If you see smoke, you see a winner!"

He should stay with CBS Sports. At FOX he wouldn't be able to call college basketball games.
And Fox doesn't have any Bowl games anymore

And as for someone hinting about him possibly going to ESPN - FOGGETTABOUTIT !!! They'd have no use for him because they've got all the talent they need for what they do

Now NBC Sports (Or whatever it reinvents itself as) could use him though (As could NFL Network, NBA TV, NHL Network, MLB Network & the college conference networks)

Cheers :D

Oh yeah? Tell that to Jon Miller and Joe Morgan. :-X

Jon Miller VOLUNTARILY left ESPN so he could focus on being the radio guy for the SF Giants. Joe Morgan was putting people to sleep. Because of this, he was let go by ESPN last year

Like I said before, ESPN doesn't have a need for Gus Johnson given all the talent they have. True some of them do work with their RSOs (Sean McDonough's work with NESN & the Boston Red Sox comes to mind here) but still.....

Cheers :D
