Hannity- 3 hours of unrelenting, goofy jingoism....

So somehow if smaller companies owned the stations, suddenly the listeners would want to hear liberal talk, and those shows would get ratings?

Do people make their listening choices based on who owns a station now?

When one company could own 5 AM 5 FM and 5 TV stations, the independently owned affiliates were free to reject
any show they wished. Now many former affiliates are OWNED by the companies distributing the programs. Now the station managers
and PDs are employees of the network or syndication company. When WBAP in Fort Worth was asked to cancel a local afternoon talker
to carry Sean Hannity -- YES SIR. Then cancel a popular noon time local news and sports hour so Hannity could air live? YES SIR. Move Paul Harvey from Noon to 10:45 am to carry Rush live -- YES SIR Cancel a popular local sports drivetime show to carry Mark Levin -- YES SIR.
