Happy to see lisa foxx made it thru black tuesday at cheap channel

She has had such a hard time at 98.7 ever since ryan left her and became mr kiss fm and mr i am everywhere and lisa has worked every shift u can think of nice to see she is till there.

Are there more cuts coming from clear channel?

In my hometown of louisville ky there was no on on air talent fired only sales people and one board op so i heard.

I just heard apologize by one republic on 98.7 since when are they alternative

Lisa Foxx is the best! She is the most underrated radio talent in Los Angeles! I WISH I could do a show with her. Believe it or not, I prayed that when Ryan Seacrest went to KIIS with Ellen, one day I would be able to host a show with Lisa Foxx.

I even did afternoons at Star San Francisco, gave them the best ratings in 10 years, in order to get back to Star L.A. and co-host the vacated afternoon slot with Lisa.

As you can tell I am a big fan of hers!

Yeah I'm okay. Don't confuse intellect with sour. But would knowing you make me sour?

Cal Guy,

You seem to be a bit off topic. This topic is about my pal Lisa Foxx. If you want to know more about me go to JoshuaEscandon.com.

I enjoy lemonade everyday.

Joshua....Don't respond to it. It only adds fuel to that sarcastic fire. I read your post for what it was....complimentary of Lisa. Her being part of a team would indeed be a good idea, and she has demonstrated that in her past. Her solo hosting of AM Drive didn't catch fire...Many times a host needs a partner to feed off of, generate ideas with, etc., which is like the whole synergy thing of 1+1 being equal to 3. IMHO, 98.7 needs more personality, and they've gotta figure out that having Lisa there gives them a good ingredient to work with. I would also like to hear the John Frost elements pop more. What he's producing so far doesn't grab me yet, like they did back in his 106.7 years.

P.S...With the demise of Indie on air, musically, I'm hoping 98.7 (and 100.3 too for that matter) become more aggressive in breaking new music that fits within their respective formats.

David,

Thank you very much! I appreciate your kind words. The music industry and radio industry both are going thru tough times, not to mention the economy in general. I've worked alongside John Frost for many years and witnessed the transition from him at KROQ to Premiere. He's an incredibly talented producer and a really cool guy.

I had the pleasure of being introduced into the Premiere family by Mr. Kitchin himself at a holiday party with Casey Kasem, George Noory, John Frost and the new guy, which was me. It certainly was an honor to be among those greats!

I would love to work at Star again and or 100.3 or any other of the kinds of formats I have air checks from. My roots are at KIIS-FM and worked there for 3 years. Also, Q105, 99.1, KROQ, KPWR, B100, Mega, KOST, KBIG, KEARTH and believe it or not, yes, I was J.T. Cole doing country for Blair Garner and had quite a laugh at my pseudo country persona. After my experience there I certainly grew to love country music!

Lastly , to keep this thread on topic Lisa is a superb broadcaster and enjoyed Ryan and Lisa's show back in the day. Ryan and Ellen are obviously a terrific team as well. I've know Ellen since I was 16. She got me my job at KIIS.
