Harvey Nagler former WCBS-AM head chosen for award

CBS News Radio VP Harvey Nagler was tabbed last week to receive the First Amendment Service Award by the RTNDA.

Nagler, who spent 10 years as WCBS-AM news and programming director, talked about his feelings for the honor. But while others praised him, (quotes from former WCBS anchor Mitch Lebe and current news director Tim Scheld) Nagler was quick to praise those who have worked for him over the years: "I’ve been privileged to work for an extraordinarily professional group of individuals.”
