has anyone ever been asked for an on air audition for pt work in harrisburg?

You know what's funny?

i have no time to kiss some stupid A$$ pd for a gig that pays $8 an hour furthermore his ft staff is hideous. so i hope you overinflated pd types enjoy driving your dodge neons and getting paid crap.

You obviously cared enough to post about it. Sour grapes! :D That's a freakin' riot.

Obviously, there's a reason you're not working somewhere full time. Either you expect too much money, or you have a little 'problem' with the PDs you've worked for. If you're THAT good, then doing a 4-hour airshift audition should be a breeze. In fact, it's likely they would have hired you on the spot and paid you for the audition hours. If you loved it THAT much...that four hour shift would have been fun for you and you would have done it.

PS - I drive a Nissan Altima.

I have a 1995 S320 and 1999 SLK230. Bought both new and both are paid in full. Does that count? ;D

The difference is I just don't rub them under everyone elses noses or cut people down.

You're right, I did not make my money in radio. I too own businesses, but again, don't hurt others feelings. I can say that if you enjoy your work, money really doesn't matter. Heck, I have pulled an air shift or two in the past years and never asked for pay, just because I enjoy it and want to keep my hands in it. I know many others who maybe don't live the "silver spoon" lifestyle, but they are happy and enjoy each day on the air.

Hell no, I wouldn't have my weekends blocked up. If I would it would be you know where, but I wouldn't even do that. I am happy as a complete outsider
