Has anyone seen the ratings for Greenville/Washington/New Bern?

I was reviewing the latest rating numbers for the Greenville/Washington/New Bern
Market, and while #1 and #2 was no surprise, the big news is that "The Bear"
(WNBR/WNBB)has achieved something no station has done since i can remember,
getting higher ratings than a 100,000 watt powerhouse, WNCT.
Some people there are probably asking, what happened?, my take is that they
should have never tweaked their format to only play the 60's and 70's.
And even though they still have the beach music shows on weekends, whatever
worked for them awhile back should be brought back.

Well, I guess you told THEM huh? Thank you for sharing your genius with us all.

I am very happy and proud of the bear.Dann and the crew are very nice folks
and they are not doing things on an unlimited budget either.!07.9 trended downward some but you can't judge things by one book and think about jumping off the Green street bridge.Let's face it when the arbs work for you, great, when they work against you,you have to realize its all about book placement and things seem to change alot from book to book unless you are kiss and wrns.107.9 is gonna be fine as long as they stay live and local.I am really happy for the bear because they ain't nobody who has sang the praises of classic country more than me.That's not brag...I just love the music and have always thought it was a viable
format.Congrats again to the bear and just think what could be if they were live
in all dayparts???So many have thumbed their noses at classic country over the years.I can't tell you all the geniuses who told me it would never work in this market. The list is quite long.Again congrats to Dann,Hammer,Rob,Gene,Clay,Billy and everyone at the Bear.I'm happy for you and I hope it just keeps getting better for you..

Allen
