So they're going to have the news anchor also do traffic in the AM? I don't get the logic of that. It's a shame that a traffic powerhouse like WALK has gone downhill.

That's Chuck HESSELBIRG who was cut. Anyone on the road during drivetime knows that WALK's traffic hasn't been the same since they stopped the WALK Traffic Twins. They shouldn't even bother with traffic anymore, it's an insult to listeners of Long Island's former news and information station. Remember that old Jetson's theme music?

Ah, I do remember the Jestons theme intro. EVerytime I watch the Jetsons, all I think of is WALK Skywalk Traffic with Buckley & Sheer (then Knight, then Hesselberg).

Maria Garcia seems to be gone from her "After Hours" show since the station went to Holiday music. Al Lewis is doing 7pm-midnight. Maria is no longer listed on the station's web site.
