Has WXAL Demopolis, WZNN Maplesville and WQCR Alabaster...

Gone dark for financial reasons or are they experiencing tech issues? I ask this because I've noticed that each one is currently off the air. Discovered WXAL and WZNN being off, a few days ago. Did a check again in Maplesville today and WZNN is still off. The WQCR check happened while I was in Pelham.

Now for an update:

Thanks to WALX Selma for sharing this info with me. They've just informed me that WXAL is now doing a simulcast of WZNJ.
WZNN Maplesville is still off, as of this post. Just checked on them, a few minutes ago. Heard dead air at that spot.
WQCR Alabaster is too far away to check on them. I hope passtheword or someone from within that area can confirm something.

I noticed WQCR being off the air a couple of days ago (Sunday) but assumed it was only temporary. Just checked (as of 6/2: 12:15 pm)...WQCR is still off the air.

btw, Zach...I meant to let you know that WENN came back on the air a few weeks ago. It's still airing what appears to be the remaining vestiges of "Y'all"...variety hits without any mention of the "Y'all" name, with only the TOH ID given. WENN continues to be rebroadcast on 99.1, W256CD.

WZNJ Demopolis is doing Urban again, with Steve Harvey in the morning.

This is the sister to WXAL, for those wondering.

This format change caught me by surprise.

I wasn't expecting it.

Dear SummitMedia,

Please pick a state for WENN and its translator: on the air or off the air, and please stay that way.

Signed,

The guy who is tired of updating your information on his website.

Good luck with that! ;) lolol

WQCR is back on the air, returning to spanish variety hits as "Juan".
