Have I got a treat for you guys! Philadelphia Edition!

I just got done giving my fellow New Yorkers their stations that fall under this category, now to break this to you Philly people! On YouTube, there are some vintage clips from WTAF/WTXF and WGBS. Just go to YouTube and type the call letters in the search box. The "Prime Time All The Time TV29" jingle is among these treasures. And for those of you who are familiar with the New York market indies, check those out too, there are some treasures from WNEW, WOR, and WPIX (didn't you guys get these stations on cable just as we got your indies on cable back in the day? I thought so!) Enjoy!

Fred/Mike: the easiest way is to just do a Google search for "you tube" and you will find the site that way. When you are on the site, just go to the "search" part and type in a particular station's call letters. Then you will find links to vintage station IDs, news opens, etc.

John: I have seen those vintage station IDs as well. It's really cool to revisit what stations looked like back in the 80s (when I was growing up) and in the 70s. I began visiting YouTube recently. I look forward to seeing more vintage newscasts and such from Philadelphia stations.

Another site for news opens from the USA and around the world is called TV Ark. If you do a Google search for "tv ark," it will take you to the site. It's a website run by a guy in England...and he has alot of American TV station and network station IDs, news opens, and the like.
