Have Mike and the Mad Dog already done their last show on WFAN?

Between the loss of Imus, the possible loss of the Mets and this, it's getting really interesting over there:

Hummm! Is this just good fluff to get folks to tune in or could this be the real thing? The Mike & Dog Meter is pointing 60% towards the true sign this time. We've been down this path before.

If big Mike leaves I would keep Chris Russo and team him with Joe Benigno. That would still be a great listen. If Russo leaves....would big Mike have to go solo?

What about WEPN in this picture? Would SNY grab them up if YES can't get the deal done. Very interesting!

I used to work with them doing the YES simulcast and can tell you that from day one these two never got along with each other. I never saw anything but a very cold relationship with conversation between them off mic only when absolutely necessary. It was always interesting to see them on air talking up a storm. Then when they went to commercial the two of them acted like divorcees in court.

While anything is possible in this business, I think it is just a publicity stunt to make us remember and talk about them during their vacation.
